Business Terms and Conditions

(FULL DEPOSIT MUST BE PAID TO SECURE DATE AND TIME –  This will be discussed at time of booking. Although we are based in Bournemouth we will travel up to 1 hour for 2 hour parties. for further a field we would require a longer booking.)

Contact & Communication

Your personal information is kept private and stored securely until a time it is no longer required or has no use, as detailed in the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation “GDPR”. Every effort has been made to ensure a safe and secure form to email submission process but advise users using such form to email processes that they do so at their own risk.

Booking Confirmation

A £30 deposit is required. Booking will be confirmed once we have acknowledged receipt of your payment. The remaining balance needs to be paid at the beginning of the event.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your party for whatever reason, please contact us or send us a Facebook message. We offer a free transfer option, if cancelled within 14 days of hire, which allows you to move your party booking to a new party date completely free of charge if the date is free.

All we ask is that you provide us with a new party date within 30 days of cancelling. Your new party date can be up to 1 year from your original party date. Any deposit you have paid will be transferred to your new party date. You can’t change the date more than once.

Unfortunately, there is no refund if you notify us less than 2 weeks before the party date.

Payment terms

Payment by bank transfer or cash is preferred. Cheques are not accepted.

Paying the rest of the fee for your party’s on the day by cash or Bank Transfer. Please provide the exact money. We don’t provide change.

Unforeseen Circumstances & Liability

In the unlikely event of a major technical failure with tech punkz (not that this has ever happened) a full refund will be offered, or an alternative date arranged.

There are occasionally issues beyond our control that get in the way.

In circumstances such as serious illness, severe weather or any other circumstance which would subject Tech Punk, any of its employees or any of its participants to danger we reserve the right to cancel, alter or delay your booking. We will inform you of any such issue as soon as possible and offer alternative arrangements.

In the event of traffic or other circumstances beyond our control preventing us from being able to fulfil your booking our liability shall be limited to a refund of any monies paid in relation to the contracted event. A pro-rata reduction in the party hire fee will be paid in the event of a delayed start only if you fail to receive the full time you paid for. No further compensation will be paid irrespective of any loss of earnings. Depending on the situation we will also offer to exchange the booking to another date.

Day of the party

If the party starts later than the agreed time because Tech Punkz was not ready then we will continue until you have had the time you paid for. If the party is delayed because you do not turn up on time the party will still finish at the agreed time. If no-one turns up within 30 minutes of the agreed start time, then tech punkz will leave and no refund will be given.

Safety of Participants

We will not tolerate bad behaviour, bad language, aggressive behaviour or threatening behaviour to our team or other Tech Punkz customers.

We Run a CCTV system for protection of our self and our Customers and equipment. Nothing is ever stored on servers and providing no damages or accidents its Deleted after every Event/Party.

Employees of Tech Punkz reserve the right to send away any person(s) who in their judgement is found to be unmanageable or a danger to the safety or enjoyment of others. In this event, no refund will be given to said individual(s) nor to the party in cases where this leads to a cancellation of the booking. Any additional costs involved in removing said participant(s) will be borne by the client.

For the comfort, health and safety of all concerned, there will be no smoking during any of the activities. The Company will accept no liability for problems arising from failure to accept and/or respond to the authority and instructions of the appointed staff.

Anyone considered being under the influence of drugs or having consumed an excessive amount of alcohol will not be allowed onboard our van.

Age Appropriate Gaming

The Tech Punkz company will not allow individuals to play games, which are not of a suitable age rating. The age appropriateness of games is set by PEGI and is now governed by UK law. Unless advised by party organiser.

Food and Drinks

No food and drinks to be brought on or consumed within the van.

Media Rights

Photographs, videos and other recorded media taken during your event may be used by Tech Punkz for marketing or advertising purposes. If this is unacceptable, please notify us beforehand. Any material published that you are unhappy with will be removed upon request. Safeguarding of children is of paramount importance to all of us at tech punkz.

Damages

In the event of any damages caused by participants to vehicles or tech punkz equipment, except by fair wear and tear, the client will be charged the full replacement cost. Any damages must be reported to a member of tech punkz immediately. Under no circumstances can we be held responsible for any damage to driveway or ground’s that is considered to be caused by our vehicle, crew or partygoers. It is the party organiser’s responsibility to ensure the grounds are suitable to support our vehicles and were unsure to seek advice from a qualified person.

Event Information

All information given in any literature produced by or on behalf of Tech Punkz is given in good faith and is intended as a guide to services available and may be altered without notice to suit differing seasonal or other conditions. All information is correct at time of going to press.

Complaints Procedure

If you have any complaint during your booking, please notify your Tech Punkz representative immediately. We will do our utmost to find a satisfactory solution. In the event that you are not satisfied then please explain in writing to the owner of tech punkz as soon as possible after the date of your booking. Your feedback is important and will be treated as such.

Insurances

The Company is covered by all necessary insurances. These along with our Risk assessments can be shown on request.
